简介
《应用化学专业英语》第二版是北京高等教育精品教材，是根据大学英
语教学大纲(理工科本科用)的专业阅读部分的要求，受“全国部分高校化工
类及相关专业大学英语专业阅读教材编审委员会”委托而编写的，旨在为应
用化学专业师生提供一本较系统的专业英语教学用书。
本教材具有以下特点：一、内容选自近年来国外英文原版高等院校化学
和化工类教学用书及化学专著，能体现当代专业英语的篇章结构特点和词汇
特点；二、题材新颖，文体各异；三、围绕本专业若干重点内容精选阅读材
料，覆盖本专业主要研究领域及发展历史、发展趋势；四、内容丰富，共包
括五部分24个单元，每单元含精读课文、专业词汇(附音标)、课文注释、多
种形式的练习和泛读课文。
本教材供已通过大学英语四级的应用化学专业学生及相关专业学生、同
等英语水平和相关专业的科技人员使用。
