为了帮助广大英语学习者提高英语听说的能力，讲一口较地道的芙式英语，我们特组织编写了《美国之音特别英语听力》奉献给读者。本书共分二册，內容包括农业、环境、发展、科技报道。由于本书配备了各类练习题，适合做听力教材，再之，由于本书录音是原汁原味的笑语发音，也适合用于模仿练习。
本书适用于中学生、大学低年级学生以及同等水平的英语自学者。
