简介
本书由三部分组成，第一部分选自黄昆先生的科学论文，黄昆先生在晶格动力学理论、多声子无辐射跃迁和光跃迁理论、极性晶体中晶格振动长波唯物方程、多声子无辐射跃迁和光跃迁理论、极性晶体中晶格振动长波唯象方程、声子与电磁场耦合形成新的元激发——polariton、稀固溶体的X射线漫散射理论以及二维体系光学电子模式理论等多个领域作出了开拓性的贡献，成为凝聚态物理发展的一个又一个里程碑。第二部分选登了黄昆先生所作过的一部分学术报告和科普报告。第三部分选登了黄昆的自述文章和治学的经验之谈，黄昆先生研究和教学近六十载，形成了自己鲜明的治学风格，他善于用简明模型解决复杂问题，从而发展新的理论。
