简介
本词典系统地反映了汽车各部分的典型构造，尤其注重近年来汽车结构和技术上的最新变化。从最新出版的有代表性的英文汽车书刊、国家标准等精选500余幅图，收入了汽车专业词汇6000余条，是从事汽车设计、研究、生产、运用和维修人员、汽车专业师生、汽车爱好者的必备工具书。
本词典具有全、新、易于查找三大特点。“全”是指词典包揽了汽车的各部分总成及其零部件；“新”是指本词典的图例大多取自图外20世纪90年代汽车结构图，特别包括了各种电子技术在汽车上的应用。为了易于查找，词典附有按主题词汇、英文字母顺序和汉语拼音字母顺序三种方式排列的检索索引，满足读者的不同检索需求。为便于读者阅读外文资料文献，本词典还附有名词解释和缩略语对照表。
