Summary:
Publisher Summary 1
Scholars of tourism, most from British universities, share experiences of managing UNESCO World Heritage Sites, archaeological and architectural legacies, in order both to protect them from damage or overuse and to make them accessible to the many people who visit. Among the sites are Bukhara in Uzbekistan, Easter Island, Hadrian's Wall, and Thebes in Egypt. A set of teaching questions facilitates the text's use for a course. Annotation c.
