简介
随着烟草农、工、商联合，中国落实WTO政策的步伐加快，与国外烟草行业的联系与合作不断加强与拓宽，要求烟草专业的大学毕业生必需具有一定的英语听、说、读及写技能。本课程的教学目的和任务就是让烟草专业学生在学习了专业课的基础上，掌握烟草专业英语术语、单词和语言特点，能够基本上读懂关于烟草专业方面的英语文献，以了解烟草行业的一些发展和研究动向，可以进行烟草专业英语口语交流、论文的英文摘要写作等。由此，我们结合多年的专业英语教学工作经验，以烟草专业为背景，加强培养学生专业英语的语言基础和应用能力，培养学生阅读理解能力，进一步扩大学生视野。
