简介
本书秉承“社会性别”视角和跨学科原则，按照“呈现经验—提出问题—理论化—目标及行动”的逻辑顺序，在JSTOR数据库节选了篇幅较短（2 500单词左右）、易于理解的英文文章，形成一个适合大学英语四级及以上英语水平的学习者的读本。编者在每单元阅读文章前提供导读，既解释本单元关键概念，也简介了主要内容。单元后的练习旨在让读者复习关键概念，并理论联系实际分析现实生活中的案例。
