简介
赵莉、董晓烨主编的《英美诗歌选读》的一大特色在于编排体例不同于国内外大多数诗歌选集按照国别、时间或人物编排而是以主题为依据,选取同类题材作品中的流传广泛和具有里程碑式的作品做横向比较分析。力图从具体诗歌作品入手分析,让读者通过作品的横向比较,对此娄作品的写作特点有豁然开朗之感。编者按照诗歌主题,将所选的60首诗歌分为爱情篇、沉思篇、自然篇、人物篇、情感篇和季节篇6个板块,每一部分入选10首诗歌。需要说明的是,爱情等6个话题虽是诗歌自古以来就反复咏叹的对象,但将诗歌按主题划分仍似有武断之嫌。希望读者能够通过细读名诗原作,提高对英语语言的感受能力和对英语文学作品的文学鉴赏能力,从而拓展英语文学与文化知识,增强外语学习的文化意识,陶冶情操,提高综合素质。
