简介
本书是受全国翻译硕士专业学位(MTI，Master of Translation and Interpreting)教育指导委员会委托，为口译及笔译方向的专业必修课“交替传译”课程所编写的教材，其目的在于帮助具备了一定基础口译能力或较好的英汉口头表达能力的学生(也包括水平相当的其他职场或社会人士)进一步提高英汉交替传译的实战能力。
本教材由十六个单元构成：第一单元是“口译简介”，旨在对口译的发展简史、定义、分类、特点、标准、方法、译员素质等基本理论作较为全面的介绍；第二至第十六单元结构大致相同，每一单元介绍一种口译技能和训练方法，并与相关话题结合起来进行演练。
