简介
斯蒂文·卢卡斯博士(Dr. Stephen Lucas)是美国威斯康辛大学麦迪逊总校交流艺术系的教授，也是专门研究美国演讲学的国际知名学者。近年来卢卡斯博士曾多次访问中国，在多所大学进行演讲和学术讲座，并在全国性演讲比赛上担任评委。 卢卡斯博士精心撰写的《演讲的艺术》是一本经得起时间检验的优秀教科书，自1983年第一版到最新的第八版，始终高居美国演讲教科书销售排行榜的榜首。目前，在美国以及世界其他国家和地区，有近千所大学用此书作为英语演讲课程的教材。 本书是大学开设演讲课的首选教科书，也是大学生参加各类演讲比赛、提高演讲水平的必备参考书。 本书配有CD-ROM光盘两张，提供与各部分内容相关的补充材料、示范演讲录像以及简单易用的辅助学习软件。
