简介
学习外语靠积累，所谓积累就是日复一日、年复一年不问断地训练。这种不问断要靠科学安排时间，尤其要充分利用“零头”时间。英语口语的提高与训练，莫说是生活在非英语环境，就算是在“英语环境”中长大，长期不用也会“萎缩”。因此，根据这一道理，我们编写了这本《每天半小时学透英语口语》一书，旨在帮助读者见缝插针，每天上午、下午和晚上各抽出10分钟时间用于英语口语练习，提高英语口头交际能力。
该书由四部分组成：一、掌握基本功能口语；二、熟练日常生活口语；三、关注社会话题口语；四、学会消遣娱乐口语。每部分的内容分三个板块，即上午10分钟：背经典例句；下午10分钟：练模拟对话；晚上10分钟：说一段独白。其编写思路为：三句五句一功能，十句八句一话题，一天掌握三、五句，两天熟悉一话题，围绕话题练百句，半年突破口语关。其编写体例既考虑到每天掌握几句经典句的实用性，又侧重于经典句在语境中反复、熟练使用的可行性。因此突破英语口语不靠死记硬背，只凭语境训练，通过在大量的对话、语篇材料中反复再现、加强记忆，以量变促质变，以“习得”的方式朗朗上口，灵活使用，天夭学习，日积月累，最终突破英语口语关。
另外，本书还具备语言地道、内容齐全、情景逼真、归纳全面等特点。相信它会为广大读者学习英语口语提供一种新感觉。
